WHAT WE ATE IN FRANCE AND IN GERMANY ...

In Germany

ApfelWein Wagner


We went to the restaurant ApfelWein Wagner located in Frankfurt during our trip in Germany.

Here, we tried German specialities.

The « Grüne Sauce Â» is a green sauce composed of 7 differents mixed herbs. The sauce is served with potatoes. Everything were served with potatoes in the restaurant, in fact, potatoes are important in   German food. Yoghurt is added in the sauce with the herbs.

Some students tried a breaded turkey served with a  sauce and potatoes.
Pork knuckle is a German speciality too, we could eat this in the restaurant.
